Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Marine Engineer who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Marine Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to redesign and improve the U.S. Naval Shipyard capabilities for the U.S. Navy.

Responsibilities
    Provides Total Ship Systems Engineering support for the Technical PAPM throughout each hulls Shipbuilding and Conversion (SCN) period to include the introduction, development and fielding in the areas of Ship Design/Hull, Mechanical and Electrical.
  • Assists in developing/evaluating plans, procedures, and processes as they relate to the ship design elements.
  • Provides engineering, analysis, and technical studies support.
  • Reviews and assists in the Government's evaluation of ship production execution.
  • Assists in the Government's evaluation and validation requirements traceability for operational requirements, performance requirements, Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).
  • Performs risk analyses and assessments of proposed alternatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
  • Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • LCS Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
