Business Development Manager Digital Solutions West/Northwest

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will build relationships with key customers as defined by the influence and/or revenue impact within the Regional boundaries. The BDM will understand and recommend all Bayer Radiology Digital Solutions offers to these customers as well as identify opportunities to expand business through new products and increased utilization. The BDM will establish a comprehensive Business Plan aimed at navigating a System by penetrating the top influencing Stakeholders impacting Radiology decision processes/purchases, as well as at the VP level where appropriate.

The BDM will have primary responsibility for landing new accounts, and collaborate with account teams including Technical Sales, Customer Success, and Fulfillment to manage the customer journey transitions from Land, to Adoption, Expansion and Renewal. The BDM will work closely with the US Heads of Sales, and Marketing as well as Product Management, to support development of campaigns and product roadmaps

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is field based and will cover a fourth of the US including Oregon, Wyoming, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, California, South Dakota and North Dakota.

The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Development Manager Digital Solutions West/Northwest, are to:

  • Responsible for delivering against commercial objectives and KPIs customers in the region, including revenue, margin, retention, and growth;
  • Accountable for developing strategic long-term business partnerships with top tier accounts within the region;
  • Develop and execute account plans in line with establish sales process, aimed at penetrating the top-influencing stakeholders within Radiology and IT, including VP level where appropriate;
  • Generate and manage leads with prospective customers in the US Radiology market, in concert with marketing campaigns;
  • Attending face-to-face meetings with clients, and support trade shows and conferences;
  • Providing specialist advice on digital solutions portfolio;
  • Approach the market with an exploring and learning mindset to capture and uncover challenges that could be solved with our portfolio of products and services and create awareness with prospective partners for testing and co-development;
  • Determine utilization and deployment of internal experts in the region to support the customer journey including Design & Development, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales leadership;
  • Collaborate with internal groups as the leader of account-based teams, Customer Success, tech sales, support, medical and 3rd party partners;
  • Synthesize information quickly to create insights and customer value resulting in portfolio embeddedness;
  • Collaborate with regional sales and marketing to set up the appropriate channels and finetune marketing plans;
  • Identify, understand, and leverage healthcare trends;
  • Represent the Digital Solutions Business interests in US strategic initiatives
  • Travel required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor required;
  • Experience and a deep network in healthcare software Industry;
  • Business Development, sales, marketing, or medical imaging software;
  • Experience leading Business Development activities;
  • Strong overall understanding of US Diagnostic Radiology and Healthcare IT markets;
  • Experience operating under a Software as a Service (SaaS) business Model;
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-functional commercial operations team;
  • IT application integration experience within Healthcare;
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cloud-based applications, and/or data architecture;
  • Track record of success executing within a matrix model parent organization;
  • Developed and delivered on a growth portfolio, including successful launch of new prouct lines;
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a global organization;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree;
  • Ten years plus of experience and a deep network in healthcare software industry

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $154,000 to $192,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
