Job/Internship Description

Overview

REI Systems is looking for a qualified sales intern to join our team. Interested candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, gain tremendous exposure to enterprise software sales, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of B2B marketing.

We're looking for an entry-level sales intern to work with our small, hands-on inbound and outbound sales team. The candidate will join as a full-time intern and upon successful completion of the internship, have the opportunity to join as a full-time Inside Sales Representative.

Responsibilities

The sales intern will be actively involved with the following:

  • Supporting existing sales representatives in prospect outreach and follow-up
  • Development of new marketing collateral and sales content
  • Demonstration support and client meeting preparation
  • Research and generate lists of potential customers
  • Assist in the evaluation of new sponsorship opportunities
  • Attend and participate in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions
  • Maintain organized lists of prospects, call logs, sales records, and other supporting documentation
  • Digital media marketing efforts including email campaigns, social media advertising, and more

Qualifications

Work Experience/Required Skills

  • Very strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Must be comfortable on the telephone including making cold calls to prospective customers
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred
  • Eager to learn
  • Interest in a possible career in sales
  • Comfort with internet technology and software
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales is a plus
  • Other similar professional duties may be assigned as needed

Education/Training

  • Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training, or experience
