As a member of a software development team you'll work with production code and learn from experienced software engineers and analysts. You'll develop software and implement processes to meet various business goals.
This internship is year-round, accommodating a part-time schedule during the school year and full-time during breaks and summer. This position may also lead to full-time employment upon graduation for a superior performer.
What You'll Do and Impact:
Work in an agile team environment to design and build software for current business projects.
Collaborate with other CIS departments to build tools that support mission critical I/T systems and improve operational performance.
Own the technical details of specific software; find and fix bugs in released software.
Research new technologies to identify innovative solutions for business problems and work with other Software Engineers to develop a better understanding of software technologies.
What You'll Need:
Enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering degree program, preferably as a freshman or sophomore
Basic software development skills
Solid understanding of a programming language or two
Ability to work 20 hours during the school year and full time during the summer
