Job/Internship Description

You will have the choice to work on the MSOE campus in the friendly confines of our newly renovated Innovation Technology center or from the Direct Supply Campus. All technology, training, soft drinks and snacks will be provided.

This intern position is year-round, accommodating a part-time schedule during the school year and full-time during breaks and summer. This position may also lead to full-time employment upon graduation for the superior performer.

TELS Platform helps Senior Living maintenance professionals improve the overall well-being of their buildings and residents through integrated Life Safety, Asset Management and Maintenance solutions.

Customers can easily oversee preventive maintenance, keep accurate repair and warranty records, manage urgent service events and make cost-conscious decisions. Top corporations using TELS Platform are 41.3% more compliant than the national average.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Receive service requests from customers, sales, and service providers that come via phone, mobile applications, and email

  • Dispatch work to pre-selected service providers

  • Stay connected with customers and service providers to make sure urgent jobs are going well

  • Escalate to your backup support from the main team when anything gets hairy

  • Work on projects to support the TELS Operations Teams

  • At times there may be fewer service events happening that need your attention. When it's slow you'll be asked to help the main team by updating some of their jobs, helping invoice customers, etc.

What You'll Need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Availability to work during core business hours, evenings, and/or weekends based on business need and school availability.

  • Ability to use systems and technology to multi-task and manage time.

  • Clear, concise, and professional written and oral communications.

  • Refusal to let Grandma be sad
